Atlas is a rather balanced person, at least for a killer — he’s quiet, sweet, and loyal, but the nature of his ‘condition’ grants him impulsive and violent tendencies, which can be hard to manage with such a short fuse. He’s mature in many ways, and awkward because of it, but his intimidation factor combats that somewhat. His thinking tends to be very black and white, and he has a hard time prioritizing over his instinctual desires and actions.

Relationship: Atlas considers himself a burden on her. He loves her dearly, but as Atlas has gotten older and in more trouble, they’re not on great terms most of the time. Her late marriage only made it worse. He cooks for her when he doesn’t know what to say. She doesn’t approve of his friends, but understands that her son isn’t capable of being “normal” because of his curse. Cuts him a lot of slack, to the dismay of Eric.Father: Unknown Status: Unknown
Relationship: While mostly unknown to him, Atlas’s hate towards his father only grows stronger as he ages. This anger is mostly out of defense of his mother, who had to raise a werewolf son by herself, and suffered immensely because of it, but also because being turned quite literally ruined his life.(Half) Sister: Emily Campbell Status: Alive
Relationship: As his little sister (11 years apart), Emily holds a special place in Atlas’s heart, and he is very protective over her, albeit jealous of her normal, innocent life. Since an incident during a full moon involving him and her pet rabbit, Emily is wary of him, but still looks up to him.Step-father: Eric Campbell Status: Alive
Relationship: Resentment all around. Since he is Emily’s biological father, and an asshole, Eric does his very best to make Atlas feel like he doesn’t belong. Emily and Mylinh try to keep them civil with each other, but they are known to argue, and even get in physical fights. Atlas tries to make sure Emily isn’t around for those.
Scotch: Best friend and on and off lover. The one person who has always known about Atlas’s lycanthropy. Only in the past few years he’s reciprocated Scotch’s feelings, but he doesn’t take their relationship seriously. Although, Atlas often feels guilty about giving him lower priority than he means to. He is protective of him, but also sees him as a complete equal.Seraph: Lover. Their relationship evolves massively over the course of events, but the heart of it all is their inherent predator/prey dynamic. The two split up for a short time (while on tour) after Atlas revealed his secret, but they’re ride or die since. Coming to terms with Atlas’s violence is hard, but they’ve learned to love it, healthy or not. Now they’re rather codependent.Eloise: Friend. He looks up to her in a way, but would never admit that. Although they are unlikely friends, he admires Eloise’s maturity and passion for the music scene. She doesn’t know about his lycanthropy, she would never approve of the violence, and would likely (successfully) convince the others to leave. Keeping it from her is hard, but their shared friendship with Scotch makes it easier.Ulysses: Friend. They’re both rather quiet dudes, but as drum & bass positions, they end up working with each other a lot. Ulysses knows well that there is some kind of secret between Atlas and Scotch, and he knows it’s best for everyone if he’s not in on it.Tex: Mentor figure. Tex can be a real prick, especially towards Seraph, but they’re the only person Atlas knows who’s experienced with werewolves. Tex is kind of a breath of fresh air after dealing with everyone else Atlas’s own age. Their history of werewolf-hunting intimidates him, but proves helpful.Cecelia: Seraph’s godmother and guardian. Both Cecelia and Atlas are protective over Seraph, so they butt heads often but not crazy hard. She’s wary of him, and worried about Seraph’s safety, but has learned to live with him always around.
Turning: Atlas was turned into a werewolf by his father, the night before he left, when he was still a toddler. His true intention isn’t known to Atlas, and he doesn't remember much past vague darkness and the pain of the bite. Learn about his moon cycle here.Childhood: Atlas went to private school until he was 13 and was relentlessly tormented. He kept his lycanthropy a secret, but like kids do, they knew there was something different about him. He began lashing out, starting out small but eventually landing kids in the nurse’s office. He transferred to public school, where he met Scotch. Things started going a lot better, being best friends with a popular class clown.Teenage years: Since transferring, Atlas had grown very fond of Scotch, but still remained a lone wolf other than that. Through high school, he watched his sister grow up as his mother’s favorite, and sat with her disapproval of almost everything he did. He felt bitter most of these years, and starting his medical transition made him an even larger target. Once again, it didn’t take long for him to rebuild his violent reputation.
☾ — Although Atlas is always shifted when killing, which protects his (known, human) identity, he also uses touring with the band as extra insurance. Even while not on tour, Atlas only kills around farmland and forest, where animal attacks would be more likely.
☾ — (Possibly obvious..) Atlas prefers to use his hands and teeth rather than a weapon. He especially refuses guns, as he’s a horrible shot. Brute force and stamina are his best friends.

☾ — Despite his love of cooking, Atlas will only touch human meat fresh and raw. It’s both a moral and a taste thing. Plus, turns out he’s not that into eating people when he’s unturned and lucid.

Relationship: Cecilia is protective over Seraph like a mother would be, but they see her more like an older sister. The two of them don’t see eye to eye on many things, but they really care for each other, evidenced by her willingness to let them live with her during school.Parents: WIP Status: WIP

Atlas: Lover. They’re aware of the pedestal Atlas puts them on, and though they know it isn’t healthy, they enjoy the attention and praise too much to help stop it. It took Seraph a long time to get used to Atlas’s thirst for blood. They were scared out of their mind at first, but eventually, tagging along got easier. The rush of endorphins during is enough to keep them going, even if they do feel sickeningly guilty after. They trust him with their life.Scotch: Not exactly a friend to Seraph, but not an enemy either. They are empathetic of Scotch’s distaste for them and try not to irritate him, but they do have their spats. They’re insecure about Atlas and Scotch’s history and closeness, and a little intimidated by his big personality, no matter how fun.Eloise: Close friend. Eloise is someone Seraph goes to to have fun, and also for guidance. She’s the one who introduced Seraph to the group in the first place — they owe her a lot for pulling them out of their own loneliness. She’s definitely an older sister figure.Mallie: Best friend. Seraph and Mallie grew up together in nyc, but now only see eachother over summer because of school. She's the voice of reason for Seraph, and dislikes the path Atlas is taking them down. Seraph has started telling the truth to her less and less, and they hate it.Tex: Atlas’s agent/mentor, who Seraph is weary of. They know how trustworthy Tex is, but they’re a little too strict and scary for their taste. Tex often rags on them about how soft they are, but they pretend it doesn’t get to them, and tends to avoid them instead.

He makes friends extremely easily, but is also dangerously impulsive and reckless, and puts his own needs on the back burner in favor of loved ones.

Relationship: Nathan (12) and Scotch aren’t close. 11 years apart is a lot, and he didn’t want anything to do with a new brother once Adrian died. Now that he’s older, he’s tried to connect with him, but it hasn’t worked very well.
Atlas: Best friend, on/off lover. Bros before hoes. Atlas means absolutely everything to him. He feels guilty about not having moved on from his crush, but it’s not like Atlas has either. The two still act like lovers, just don’t have much alone time to. It’s more desperate this way, more hungry. Scotch can’t help but wish their relationship was how it used to be.Seraph: Bandmate, but nothing more. Scotch’s anger towards Seraph isn’t something he enjoys. He is usually the one to start an argument, and only holds back for Atlas’s sake. He hates the attention they get from Atlas, he feels replaced and inadequate.Eloise: Best friend / ex / FWB. The breakup was mutual, but definitely Scotch’s fault (ie: couldn’t get over Atlas). He considers himself very lucky to still have her. The two of them are extremely close, they’re rarely seen without the other.
Childhood: Scotch had a pretty normal childhood for the most part, although his family was poor. He had plenty of friends, and loved his siblings. The death of his brother is really what changed him. Being present for the accident resulted in lots of guilt. His siblings, especially Jacob, kinda blamed him for it. That’s when Scotch started acting out.Teenage years: Scotch got into a lot of trouble during this time. Mostly for disrupting class, smoking at school, disappearing w/o saying anything, etc. He was a huge class clown, which gained him lots of popularity and, most importantly, attention. Self-destructive, impulsive behavior lead to a series of hospitalizations over a few years, one of them he met Atlas during.
